Welcome to Acacia Lodge 118!
For over a century, Acacia Lodge 118 we’ve served as a cornerstone of the Ontario, Oregon community. Far more than just a building, our lodge is a gathering place where history, tradition, and lifelong friendships come together.
Our Roots in Malheur County
Our story began during the early days of Ontario’s development, founded by some of the very pioneers, veterans, and visionaries who helped build this region from the ground up. We chose the name Acacia as a nod to a timeless fraternal symbol of endurance and the immortality of the soul—a reminder of the enduring values we strive to live by every day: brotherly love, relief, and truth.
A Community Built on Connection
At Acacia 118, we bridge the gap between a proud past and a vibrant present. We are a diverse group of men from all walks of life, united by a shared commitment to bettering ourselves and supporting Malheur County. Whether we are honoring our most senior members for an incredible 60 years of service or welcoming a new face through our doors, we believe in celebrating the unique story that every brother brings to the table.
Traditions Like No Other
While we love our historic home base in downtown Ontario, we also embrace the rugged spirit of the Pacific Northwest. One of our proudest annual traditions is participating in the famous Malheur Cave Degree . Gathering deep underground with brothers from across Oregon and beyond, it’s a powerful reminder of our pioneer heritage and a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else in the world.
Step Inside
Whether you are a traveling brother looking for a place to visit, a history buff curious about our roots, or someone interested in learning more about what it means to be a Mason, our doors are open.
We’d love to meet you. Come be a part of our next chapter!
